Steam Room Costs

Having a steam room built does not have to be expensive but to get a top of the range one you will need a few thousand pounds. Steam room costs can fall into two categories the first being the parts that you have to have and the second being the added extras that you want to add to make it a bit more special or personal.

Steam Room Costs for a Cheap Steam Room

If you want to have a steam room and not pay a lot of money you should be able to do it but you must remember that you will be using all the materials from the basic end of the scale.  The generator will be the most expensive piece of equipment you have to have and this will probably cost about £700.  The doors will be the next highest item and these will set you back about £200.  To try and keep costs down choose cheaper tiles and as long as they are fitted correctly they will not cause a problem.  There will be a wide range of seats to choose from and a basic plastic seat will be the best option if you are looking to keep costs down.  There will also be no need to add speakers or aromatherapy fitment.

In this instance the generator will cost up to £3,000 and will have a good warranty on it.  The doors can be anything up to £1000 and for this amount of money you should be able to get them personalised with the design or motif you want.  The tiles can add a great deal to the cost and depending on the type and amount you can pay around £3000.  For this you should be able to have a design or motif on them and you can choose whatever you want.  If you are paying the manufacturer should be able to arrange.  If you have the money there can be waterproof speakers and an aromatherapy machine.

Here there will be a chance to get a steam room at the price you want to pay.  The full system can cost as little as £3000 and the dearest will be over £9,000.  These prices are for steam rooms for two people and if you wanted them to be for more people the steam room costs would be higher.  There is a wide range of manufacturers to choose from including Airbath, Bette and Hansgrohe and the parts are also available to buy individually if that is the way that you want to go.

In short it is not possible to say exactly how much a steam room costs as there are so many different things to consider.  There is no need to spend more than you can afford and as long as you are prepared to accept that the more basic stream rooms will look different from the more expensive ones then you should be happy with what you choose.
